Beachy Head

Wow!! Ever been to Beachy Head?

Well neither had I until Sunday Afternoon! What an amazing place to take in. It was the perfect day for it too, hot, sunny and just a bit of wind as you would expect being so close to the sea and white chalk cliffs so high up! I rode along the coast from Hastings  and made my way through the winding roads of the climb up to the cliffs!

Hey good looking!

Beachy Head is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain, rising to 162 metres.

Around 20 people come here every year to jump off the cliffs and meet their doom a hundred metres or so below on the rough rocks that lay below as the waves repeatedly lash them from the English Channel. Sad, but you’d hope an instant death for the poor souls that do so. Either way, Beachy Head is an amazing place to enjoy life or end it………….the choice is up to you….Choose life.
